These all games are regularly practiced by the students during whole year under supervision of In-charge Sports. All the necessary sports items are provided by the college for practicing various sports. Every year interclass annual games have been organized at College level. After Interclass annual games, a team is selected for participating at university level sports.

Well equipped gymnasium facilities is available for students and staffs with multipurpose machine, rover, bicycle, dumbbells etc.

Following students from this college have represented our University in Inter University Games and Sports Meet at UAS, Bengaluru, Karnataka in the year 2017.

  • SUO Parth Sharma got bronze medal in Hacks of equitation competition at RDC.
  • Major Dr. Archana Jain detailed and attended the CATC XV (Adventure Camp) From 14th to 23rd March’2017 organized by 2MP R&V SQN NCC, Veterinary College, Mhow along with 16 cadets of the unit.
  • Cadets attended National Equestrian Championship and Republic Day Contingent Camp and won number of medals including Gold, Silver, Bronze and highly commendation and got laurels to the College and University.
  • SUO Shreya Shastry won Bronze medal in Hacks of equitation competition at RDC 2020.

BENEFIT TO THE STUDENT DEVELOPMENT

  3. Selflessness, honesty, discipline, hard work.
  4. Shaping them into dynamic and responsible citizens of the country.
  5. NCC 'C' Certificate holders in age group 19-25 years are required to compete in UPSC examination for commission though IMA (Indian Military Academy) or OTA (Officers Training Academy).
  6. The Cadets are exempted from CDS examination conducted by UPSC.
  7. Candidates who having NCC certificate can get first preference the time of interview.
  8. Preference is given to B & C certificate holders in Defence Services, Police services, Para-Military forces, Fire forces, BSF, Territorial Army, Industrial Security Forces, Public Sectors, and all uniform services.
  9. Number of vacancies created every year through UPSC & SSC for ‘C’ Certificate holders and the selected only on interview basis.
  10. NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders are given preference in the recruitment of Civilian Gliding Instructors/Girl Cadet Instructors /NCC whole time lady officers and Aero/Ship modeling instructors.
  11. For Army soldier recruitment, NCC cadets get bonus marks.
  12. NCC Cadets have reservation in many Government jobs, especially in the State and Central Police and in paramilitary forces.
  13. NCC cadets have a lot of academic incentives too.
  14. NCC ‘C’ Certificate cadet taken part in Republic day parade at New Delhi, they are exempted from CEE and be awarded 100 marks in lieu.
  15. Sahara India and many other top industries pick up NCC Cadets possessing ‘C’ certificate for various job in their companies.
  16. Several cadets of this unit were selected in RVC, ITBP, BSF etc.

Selected students participated in intercollegiate cultural and literary competition.

This college has organized intercollegiate cultural and literary competition in the year 2016 and 2019. Veterinary college Mhow secured runners up trophy in 2016 and winner’s trophy in 2019.

Students from this college have participated in Agrifest. They have also participated in inter agriculture and veterinary university debate and quiz competition held at Pantnagar and Miss. Pranali Mishra secured Ist prize in national debate competition in 2019.

Cultural and literary events are also organized by the college to celebrate National festivals, World veterinary day, world rabies day and college foundation day.

During the Covid pendemic online inter college and interclass painting competition and poster competition was organized by the college.

Covid-19 awareness activities

Students of our college made very informative and useful videos regarding the precautionary measures to be followed during pandemic

Videos were entitled-

The 3 C's concept by WHO

The mask series- how to made homemade mask, how to wear mask, how to reuse mask, when and who should wear gloves

Other Activities

  • Educational videos on zoonoses day and rabies day emphasizing the precautionary measures to be followed.
  • College organized inter collegiate poster making competition on World Rabies Day to create awareness.
  • Various days such as world animal day, world rhino day, international lion day, and international blood donation day were celebrated online under the awareness campaign for animal welfare.
  • College organised an All India Poster Making Competition on occasion of World Rabies Day on 28.9.20 on theme “End Rabies-Collaborate, Vaccinate” jointly with Rotaract Club of Veterinary College, Mhow
  • An interschool poster and essay competition was organized on the occasion of National Agricultural Education Day. A series of seminars was organized to educate the students of 10th- 12th standard about scope and opportunities in the field of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences.
