Admission Rule for Foreign National category

Admission of Foreign National candidates is made in the following programmes:

  • B.V.Sc. & A.H.
  • B. F.Sc

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS / RULES

      • 1. Eligible candidates for admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. degree courses under Foreign National category should carefully read the rules for admission before submitting the application form. Incorrect/false information may lead to cancellation of application form for admission and the candidate will be liable to face legal action.
      • 2. Following candidates will be eligible for admission in Foreign National category:
      • i. APPLICANT MUST BE A FOREIGN NATIONAL POSSESSING FOREIGN PASSPORT AND MUST NOT BE OF INDIAN ORIGIN.
      • ii. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holder / Person of Indian Origin (PIO) even having Foreign passport WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS FOREIGN NATIONAL.
      • iii. Academic Qualifications: The candidate must have passed 10+2 of school education of Indian system or its equivalent examination abroad in English medium with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects and obtained minimum 50% marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in aggregate. Candidates studied in medium of instruction other than English should produce the proficiency certificate for their skill in English (reading, writing and speaking) from recognized Institutes.
      • iv. Age: The candidate must have attained 17 years of age on 31st December, 2025
      • 3. The prescribed application form for admission may be downloaded from www.ndvsu.org and be submitted with a fee of 150 US dollar only (details of mode of payment alongwith bank details are given in rule no.12, page no.4)
      • 4. The duly completed application form in all respect along with proof of payment of requisite application fee and self-attested copies of the relevant documents, and relevant certificates showing grades/ marks and conversion formulae for calculating percent equivalent marks, all scanned into a SINGLE PDF FILE (coloured scan copies) should be submitted through email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to reach Dean Faculty, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University on or before the prescribed last date, i.e 29th August, 2025. Incomplete application form in any respect or application received after 29th August, 2025 will be rejected However, the applicant has also to submit original application form along with original demand draft through post to Dean Faculty, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Administrative building, Adhartal, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh-482004, India. The candidate must write on the envelope “Application form for admission under Foreign National category 2025 -26’’’
      • 5. No application form for admission will be considered unless it is accompanied by self attested copies of the documents/ testimonials.
      • 6. No changes will be entertained once the application has been submitted.
      • 7. The counselling schedule and rules for counselling for admission will be informed to the eligible candidates through E-mail individually/also uploaded in the University website.

      • 9. Selection of candidates: The admission will be done on the basis of merit list of the candidates prepared based on the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks obtained in 12th class or equivalent examination abroad. Candidates who have been selected under Foreign National category should maintain the status of Foreign National category under which they are selected till the completion of their course.
      • 10. The criteria for deciding merit order in case of students having equal merit shall be in the following sequence, namely:-
      • (a) The candidate who has obtained higher marks in the subject of Biology in 12th class.
      • (b) Higher Marks obtained in 12th class.
      • (c) Date of birth (Candidate who is elder in age shall be given priority).
      • 11. Admission fees to be deposited at the time of admission:- US dollar 7200 per year must be deposited at the time of admission (cash will not be accepted). In addition, Indian Rupees 33860/- for B.V.Sc. & A.H. and 22740/- for B.F.Sc. degree courses also have to be deposited at the time of admission.

    • 14. Attested copies of the following documents have to be submitted by the candidate in duplicate along with application form, otherwise the application will be rejected.
      • i. Proof for the Citizenship of the candidate of foreign country
      • ii. Proof of date of birth 10th or 12th class Marksheet / Certificate or related document from Competent Authority showing date of birth (candidate must have attained 17 years of age on 31st December, 2025)./li>
      • iii. 12th class Marksheet (candidate must have obtained 50% marks in science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology in aggregate). If grades are produced, Certificates showing equivalent marks to grades obtained from competent authority should be submitted.
      • iv. Passport of the candidate (original Passport to be shown at the time of verification)
      • v. Certificate showing that the candidate has undergone the qualifying school education in English medium (or) Certificate showing the skill of English (reading, writing and speaking) from recognized Institutes.
      • vi. Eligibility Certificate / No Objection Certificate from embassy of the respective country / government.
      • vii. Grade Conversion Certificate
      • viii. Equivalent Conversion Certificate
    • 16. Fitness Candidates have to submit a medical fitness certificate at the time of final allotment
    • 17. At the time of admission, the candidate has to submit a notarised surety bond on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100 stating that in case of leaving the study anytime after admission due to any reason including shortage of attendance before completion of B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme, the student will refund the total drawn amount of stipend from the college (if any) alongwith a sum of Rs. 1.00 Lakh (one lakh Rupes only) as penalty to get College Leaving Certificate and Migration Certificate.
    • 18. Transfer of students admitted under Foreign National category seats from NDVSU, Jabalpur to a Veterinary College of other State shall be permitted as per Academic rules only on payment of the remaining fees of the entire degree programme.
    • 19. If the Foreign National Category seats remain vacant after the last date of application, then the vacant Foreign National Category seats will be converted to NRI seats. If again remain vacant, the vacant seats will be converted to payment seats and will be filled by the general (unreserved) category candidates from merit list of NEET (UG) 2025.
    • 20. The University reserves the right to insert any new rule or to edit / modify / delete any rule to meet the exigencies of situation at any time.
    • 21. Interpretation: In implementation of the provisions of these rules, if any difficulty or question arises as to the interpretation of any provision, decision of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh shall be final.
